This first volume begins the collection CANARIOS DE COLOR EN EL SIGLO XXI, an ambitious work in which colour canary farming is developed in detail, with an infinite number of wonderful images as examples of each and every one of the varieties. The following volumes, soon to be published, will cover melanic canaries from the classics to all the mutations that have appeared.
In this work, a monographic work on lipochrome canaries, treats all aspects of the passion for lipochromes, from their origin to selection, handling and preparation for competition. Always from the perspective of high level sportive canary breeding, with advices that will help many breeders to advance in a faster way and that will surprise more than one great expert that, besides enjoying the images, will find incentives in each chapter.
Each chapter is accompanied by the corresponding OMJ Standard, as a fundamental tool for every breeder, which is developed and commented on in the essential aspects.
The author has been an OMJ International Expert Judge of Colour Canaries since 1984 and has judged numerous competitions around the world, including several international and world championships.
